Insa-dong, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Seoul, is now offering a high-tech service for its visitors. The "U-Insa-dong" service is available at terminals set up at either end of Insa-dong Street, tourist information booths and other major attractions in the area.

Visitors can check their e-mail or use the Internet at "U-Stations," and check out tourist information, including sights to see and restaurants. A video consultation service offered by the Seoul Global Center is also available. All contents are provided in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese.

"The 'U-Insa-dong' service will reduce inconveniences suffered by domestic and foreign tourists, and revitalize the area," a city official said.The city operates similar systems at Cheonggye Stream and Seoul Forest and plans to establish an integrated, ubiquitous system throughout the capital.

관련된 정보를 찾기 위해 구글링을 했으나 UInsa-dong으로 검색되는 동영상이나 이미지가 없었다. 좋은 기술이 우리 안으로 들어와 있음에도 불구하고 이를 효과적으로 외국인들에게 홍보하지 못하는 것 같다.
